Pay: £14.80 per hour

Shifts: Waking Nights - 12 Hour Shifts - 8pm - 8am (2-3 Shifts Per Week)

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential.

We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area, we are looking for someone to do 2-3 nights per week.

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

- Gastrostomy care

- Oral suctioning

- Saturation Monitoring

- Specialist Moving & Handling (Hoist) 

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Colchester branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Experience in the following would make your application more advantageous:

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds / Gastronomy care.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Moving & Handling Equipment, in particular hoists. 
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
