We are currently recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our dedicated team supporting service users across East Hertfordshire.

📍 Work Locations

Work close to home in some of East Hertfordshire’s most welcoming communities. We are currently in high demand and urgently looking for compassionate people based in or around BIRCHANGER and BISHOPS STORTFORD!

🏠 Birchanger (Urgent Vacancies!) 🏙️ Bishops Stortford (Havers, Hockerill, Thorley - Urgent Vacancies!) 🏡 Sawbridgeworth 🌳 Hertford 🌸 Ware 🌻 Stanstead Abbotts And the surrounding villages.

💷 Pay & Benefits

💰 Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.70 per hour 💰 Saturdays: £16.50 per hour 💰 Sundays: £16.50 per hour 🚗 Mileage allowance: 30p per mile

⏰ Shift Patterns & Contract Security

Our services run 7 days a week, offering shifts to suit your lifestyle:

🌞 Day Shifts: 06:00/07:00 – 14:00 🌙 Evening Shifts: 14:00 – 22:00/23:00

✨ Guaranteed Hours are available for the right candidates – giving you the security of regular work!

Job Description

💙 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

✨ You’ll help with:

• 💧 Supporting with personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming

• 💊 Assisting with medication – preparation and administration

• 🚶 Helping with mobility – and using aids/equipment safely

• 🍲 Preparing meals/snacks – and offering mealtime support

• 🧺 Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning

• 💬 Offering companionship – and building meaningful relationships

✨ You’ll also:

• 🤝 Encourage social engagement and family connections

• 👀 Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family

• 📝 Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• 🛡️ Respond to emergencies safely and effectively

• 🧩 Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Qualifications

• 🚗 Driving Requirement: A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
