Location: Wellingborough

Pay: £14.75 per hour

Shifts: Days - 7 am - 7 pm | 2 shifts available Monday to Sunday

Driver: Yes - A full valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, due to the geographical location of the role and lack of public transport in the local area.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Working in our client’s family home, you will make a genuine difference by delivering high-quality care and support in a varied and rewarding role. You will support him to access the community and live a fulfilling life, enjoying activities such as bowling, visiting coffee shops, going for walks, listening to music, and watching Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

We are seeking a care professional who brings energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to every shift. You will value building meaningful relationships and delivering attentive, person-centred care. The successful candidate will be responsive, observant, proactive, reassuring, and calm in their approach.

The client is a young gentleman with Pallister-Killian syndrome, where multiple clinical intervention need to be met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ventilator management (Bi-Pap & Oxygen Dependent)
• Administering medication via nasogastric tube
• Personal care
• Manual handling (Hoist & Wheelchair)
• Seizure management (Epilepsy)

You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support to develop and strengthen your skills in complex care.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Previous Complex Care experience is beneficial for this role. You will have full nurse-led training and clinical support to develop and improve skills.

You will be someone who values building strong relationships.  We are seeking a care professional that is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.

Having experience with the key responsibilities above would make your application more advantageous for the role.
