Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for compassionate and reliable carers to support a young girl with complex needs within her family home. The client enjoys sensory lights, music, cuddles with her family, and being around familiar people. She is non-verbal and requires carers who are patient, attentive, and able to understand her communication through sounds, movements, and expressions.

The role involves supporting with personal care, gastrostomy feeding, seizure monitoring, oxygen therapy, suctioning, repositioning, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Continuity is very important to the family, so we are looking for caring individuals who can build trust, provide reassurance, and deliver consistent support. Experience in epilepsy, respiratory care, PEG feeding, or complex care is desirable, although full training and ongoing clinical support will be provided.

What you’ll need

The following is essential to be eligible for an interview: - 

• Experience working in a complex care setting
• Experience with PEG feeding.
• Experience of seizure management.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience of oxygen administration.
• Experience of ventilation equipment.
• Experience with cough assist.
• Experience of using a ceiling hoist.
